Digital Content Has No True Home
This is nothing new. Modern consumers want their content when, how and where they want it. This has been proven by the growing adoption of VOD, iPod Video, and RSS (amongst others).
In recent conversations about widgets, I have often taken the stance, "who care, they are widgets, Apple has been doing this forever and so have bloggers!".
Well folks, it is rare that I admit I was off target, but to a certain degree I feel that I was.
NBC continues to lead the network charge towards innovation by adopting Clearspring to distribute content via widgets across the web.
